Parkdale George is a highly regarded sire from Parkdale Valais in New Zealand, and we are proud to incorporate his genetics into the Valais KC breeding program through imported semen.
George has been an important stud ram for Parkdale Valais, having been used extensively over their ewes and producing exceptional offspring. His pedigree brings together generations of proven Valais Blacknose genetics, with notable achievements in New Zealand, the United States, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland.
George’s sire, Parkdale Eric, is also the sire of Parkdale Greta, who was named Supreme Champion Valais at the 2024 New Zealand Agricultural Show.
His grandsire, Rose Creek Prinz Eugen, is behind some of the most highly recognized genetics in the breed. Eugen sired Laurelhighland Bubbles, one of only three sheep to receive maximum points at the 2023 USA National Valais Blacknose Sheep Show. He also sired Iowa Kevin, who was named Champion Valais Ram and Reserve Supreme Champion at the same show and subsequently received maximum points at the 2024 show.
George’s dam, Parkdale Bubbles, is also the dam of both Laurelhighland Bubbles and Iowa Kevin, giving George exceptional depth on his maternal side as well.
Further strength throughout the pedigree includes Prendwick Basil and Prendwick Dot, both graded maximum points twice in the UK, as well as Eros, Hulk, and King Kong, who were graded maximum points in Switzerland.

Parkdale Elvis

Parkdale Elvis is a beautifully marked pure Swiss Valais Blacknose ram owned by Parkdale Valais in New Zealand. He combines correct conformation, strong breed character, and an exceptional fleece, making him a valuable addition to the Parkdale breeding program and an exciting sire for Valais KC through imported semen.
Elvis brings new and proven genetics to the Parkdale stud, with Snowdonia Goliath as his sire. Goliath was named Overall Reserve Champion and Overall Male Champion at Blacknose Beauties in 2021, while also setting a new breed sale record.
Elvis has gone on to sire exceptional offspring in both New Zealand and the United States. Among them are Iowa Lavender Haze and Iowa Lilac, who were graded just one point below maximum at the 2024 USA National Valais Blacknose Sheep Show, placing first and second in their respective class.
Elvis’ dam, Bailey, was one of the first pure Valais ewes born at Parkdale, giving him valuable foundation genetics from within the Parkdale program.

Parkdale Flynn

Parkdale Flynn is an accomplished Valais Blacknose ram from New Zealand, and we are excited to incorporate his genetics into the Valais KC breeding program through imported semen. Flynn is being utilized in our current breeding program with lambs expected mid-to-late December 2026.
Flynn was named Champion Valais Blacknose Ram and Reserve Supreme Champion Valais Blacknose at the 2023 New Zealand Agricultural Show. At the same show, he also placed third in the Champion All Breeds Best Wool Breed Ram Hogget, highlighting the quality of the fleece that has become one of his standout attributes.
In addition to his show record, Flynn possesses the qualities we value in a breeding sire, including excellent movement, strong breed character, and an exceptional fleece.
Flynn is sired by Snowdonia Goliath, a highly influential ram who set the overall breed sale record in the UK in 2021. Goliath was also named Overall Reserve Champion and Overall Male Champion at Blacknose Beauties in 2021.
The depth of Flynn’s pedigree continues through his paternal line, with Westmorland Ego and his grandsire Westmorland Dancer both receiving maximum-point grades. His dam, Gemstones May, has produced multiple maximum-point offspring, while Prendwick Basil adds further proven genetics on the maternal side.
